The most useful thing from this module was how to take notes. I learned that my note taking technique does not include anything that has me going back to review and study my notes, editing the page and marking up what I wrote. With the Cornell notes, the video showed more intent with their structure then I have. they included space on the side for questions. This is definitely going to be something I try to change about how I take notes. One thing that I already do is active listening when I take notes, I allow myself to ask questions and think about what the lecturer is saying so that I am engaged and not falling behind in lecture. I think if I start implementing what I learned from this module I will be able to benefit a lot more from note taking and will most likely improve my grades and study habits. I would recommend to other students to spend 15 minutes looking at their own notes and seeing what style they are using and the information they are able to record. This will show them if they have any areas to improve on in their note taking and then help them in their classes in the future.
