About Me

My name is Chaya Duncan. I was born on November 6, 1997 in Reston, VA. When I was around two or three, my mother moved to Ohio to attend The Ohio State University and we have lived in central Ohio ever since. I graduated from Canal Winchester High School in 2016. While in high school, I did several volunteering projects. I was part of the National Honor Society, Indians club (which was our school volunteering club) and I did volunteering on my own. My most involved projects were with Nellie’s Catwalk for Kids, which is a local charity for pediatric cancer patients, and a volunteering position I held at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. In the classroom, I love doing hands on work and working on projects, but I also enjoy a good lecture and usually remember information that I both hear and write down. Outside of the classroom I love playing softball, playing with my dogs, watching movies, and spending time with my friends. I am beyond excited to attend The Ohio State University and I am so proud to be a buckeye!
