Social workers can legally and ethically conduct nonpartisan voter engagement as part of their practice. Health and human service workers and organizations can empower clients by equipping them with the resources they need to cast their ballots.
Voting is healthy for individuals and communities. Use these resources for yourself and in your practicum to connect clients and partners to the political process.

There is so much to vote for this general election! In addition to the presidential race, Ohio has a closely watched US Senate race, an initiated state constitutional amendment to change the redistricting process, and local issues like school levies and public transit funding. This is a great time to engage your classes and clients around the voting process.
Don’t sit this one out.
