About Me

My name is Brayden Cross and I am currently in the school of environmental and natural resources at The Ohio State University. I am currently undecided, but I am heavily considering declaring Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife. I hope to do research and field work while I am attending OSU and for long after I graduate. I want to work with helping to solve problems in the ecosystem and help restoration efforts to affects habitats and the fauna and flora that reside in them. I would primarily like to work around and focus on water related ecosystems. I want to make a difference in the world and reach the places in the world that need me most. I want to make a profound effect in world so that many generation can see the beautiful earth that we live on and can enjoy it for centuries to come.

I am a hard worker and driven for my goals. When I see a worthwhile goal, after careful consideration, my motivation pushes me forward to get it. I’ve known I wanted to go to OSU since I was old enough to understand the concept of college. When the opportunity arose for me to apply, I knew my path forward. I wasn’t going to let anything stop me from what I knew would be the key to a successful future. My hope for the future is that I am able to work effectively with others in and around my field to help solve our pressing issues. I like to work right alongside people and use our combined knowledge and experiences to create a better world.

I like photography and love to meet new people and collaborate with people to share our perspectives. My favorite subject for photography is nature and cityscape photography. I also love long boarding and sitting in the shade under a tree just talking and get to know people.
