CABLE Ambassador | Delaware State University
Carl-Michael was a cohort 1 Student Delegate with CABLE and now seeks to serve future cohorts in their leadership development by providing guidance to future Student Delegates.
Carl-Michael James Jr., was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, but shortly afterwards his family relocated to the United States Virgin Islands, his original place of origin, where he attended public schools throughout the entirety of his adolescent education. After years of conducting research experiments, he began to acknowledge his natural ability for the sciences.
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in General Agriculture, he intends to create a polyculture farming system in which animals and plants coexist in symbiotic relationships. The main goal of polyculture farming is to provide crop diversity in imitation of the diversity found in natural ecosystems.
