Topic 1: Propeller Configuration

The first Advanced R&D topic the group tested was propeller configuration. By comparing the push-pull and push-push/pull-pull methods, the group was able to compare the distance v. power graphs for the most effective configuration. The 3100 propellers were also compared to the 2510 propellers to see which would be stronger when forcing the entire AEV forward, or when reversing. Besides changing the direction the propellers were facing and the type of propeller, the rest of the AEV system was not altered between trials. After analyzing the data, the group decided to continue with the 3100 propellers
