2. Primary Means of Communication and Expectations

– All members are expected to respond in the group chat when discussing class work in a timely manner; e.g. 2-3 hours

 

3. Schedule of Meetings

  • –  Due to team members all living off campus, meetings will be scheduled on an case- by-case basis to fit the weekly scheduled of group members.
  • –  Meetings will be scheduled either by scheduling times in class or in the messaging in group message.
  • –  Team members will send an informal reminder on the day of meetings to ensure that all group members will be in attendance.

4. General Responsibilities for All Team Members

  • –  Contribute to all labs and group projects
  • –  Show up to scheduled meeting times, unless specified otherwise prior to date ofscheduled meeting or illness/emergency
  • –  Put forth their best effort to ensure group success
  • –  Distribute work load evenly between group members
  • –  Ensure all team members have looked are and are satisfied with final submissionsbefore they are submitted
  • –  Work cohesively as a group, meaning, lead as well as listen to ideas of other groupmembers

     

5. Specific Team Member Responsibilities/Deadlines-

  • Team members have decided to distribute roles and responsibilities on a case-by- case basis

 

6. Conflict Resolution

If, during a group assignment, team members are conflicted or cannot come to a consensus, the following steps will be taken to make a final decision and resolve the conflict.

  • –  Hear the options of all team members to see if there is a majority consensus
    o If yes, try to explain to other group member why it is believed that that answer isthe correct answer to help team member learn and better understand the conflicted

    upon topic.

  • –  If no, have a group discussion and conduct research to see if the group can arrive at acommon consensus.
  • –  If 1 and 2 do not work, email or meet with Dr. Ratcliff or one of the TA’s to haveallow the professor or TA to try to explain or mediate to reach a solution.
  • –  If 3 fails, have Dr. Ratcliff or the TA make a final decision.

 

7. Expectations of Faculty and GTA’s

– If a team member does not meet the expectations laid out on this agreement, hold that team member accountable and do not let it affect the grades of other group members who followed through with their responsibilities.
