On Saturday September 29th Wayne and Bonita Lashbrook, and Rita and Brad Franchi will host the 2012 Ohio Tree Farm tour at their Deseret Tree Farm in Jackson County. The day will be filled will lots of activities including:
-Watch a portable sawmill convert logs into boards
-Visit a thinned white pine stand and a black walnut stand
-Fish in a farm pond and learn about fish managment
-Take a hike in young and old forests
-Learn abut invasive plant species
-Visit a streamside forest
-Enjoy the beautiful forests in Jackson County
