Through this intensive 17-day program in Japan (EARTHSCI 5797.20), students explore a wide range of human health, environmental, sociological, and cultural issues, with a particular focus on Japanese perspectives.
The program begins with a 10-day stay in Tokyo, followed by a week-long trip across the country. During this travel, students visit cities such as Fukushima, Toyama, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Minamata, Sendai, and Ishinomaki.

The program fee for the 2025 trip was $1,609. This includes all accommodation and travel expenses within Japan. Please note that airfare and meals are not included in this fee.
