Welcome to the Li-Chun Tu Lab at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
About the Lab
We are interested in the function of the human nucleus. How chromatin organization and gene expression are regulated in space and time? How cells maintain homeostasis by epigenetic regulation of gene expression under stress (e.g., cancer drug treatment)? What are the factors that govern the dynamics of chromatin structure and functions?
Interdisciplinary and cutting-edge tools, including super-resolution microscopy, CRISPR-based DNA imaging, biochemical assays, molecular biology techniques, and biophysical analysis, are used in the lab. Lab members are expected to do hands-on experiments, develop new tools/techniques, and present their results in meetings.
We are recruiting highly motivated postdocs and graduate students! Please contact Dr. Li-Chun Tu by email for further information.
