Weekly Recap #6

I was at Georgetown today and I spent the whole day typing up work orders and I closed a few tickets for Brian. These work orders were hefty because the guys here write about two or three work orders for one job. I got all those done and was able to get out of Georgetown and get home.

Today was the sales golf outing, so I meet Billy at the Eaton store and Mackenzie left her car for us drive this week while she is gone. I drove us to the golf outing and once we got there, I was a little nervous because all the salesmen complex wide was there and that is kind of intimidating! When the golfing was just about to get started, I got of Jay’s gold cart and went around the course with Jay, Nick, and Maverick. I already knew Jay, but it was nice to get to know him better and meet Nick and Maverick. Now, I would say that people might want to watch out for Jay at future golfing events because he is a sleeper! I had a great time at the outing, and I feel I made great connections while at the event!

Today I was at Plain City, and I spent my day writing and closing work orders. I worked on my new calendar that I made for both Luke and I along with the techs. This calendar shows all the pick-ups/delivery we have coming up, service calls, and customer drop offs. I gave each category a different color and I made a color key to hang next to the calendar to help people identify what is what. After my calendar was done, I finished some tickets I had and then ate some lunch while looking over some other tickets. I then talked to Luke about the calendar and then our goal for the day was to get a stack of work orders closed. Luke sat down and worked on those and then gave them to me to close, while he went to lunch. After Luke came back, He gave me a few more to close and I worked on those and then it was time to rearrange the filing cabinets. In the cabinet’s things did not match and they were not in order and Warranty and Customer tickets where not separated, so I took it upon myself and made those changes. I made a drawer for internal; customer and warranty and I then went in a separated then numerically. After I had gotten all that done it was time to go home so I made the trip back home.

Today I traveled to the Eaton store and meet Billy where we then drove up to the Lebanon location. We then went on a tour of the CNHI Parts and Service Depo! I really enjoyed our tour and it was super cool to see behind the scenes of how we get our parts and really how the dealerships around are able to keep running. After that we worked on presentations skills and public speaking. We got out right at 2pm and Billy and I headed home!
