Tyler’s Velcro bed sheet prototype:
For scale purposes, the bed sheet was made with a shoe box, a hand towel, and 8 velcro pads–two for each side. The sheet could come with the softer side of the velcro intact, so it could be washed, while the brittle side could be applied easily to a mattress. The firmness of the velcro would allow a user to apply the sheet in one place, so they would not have to use a 2nd hand to cover another corner. By applying velcro one at a time, the sheet will be fully flattened out when the last piece of velcro is applied.
