Danny’s Solutions

  1. A need exists for something that will transmit information from our brain onto a computer.

-Device to talk into that transmits your words into written text

-Write words onto a touchscreen pad with a utensil that converts it into text

-A software program that helps guess that words that you’re typing but much more sophisticated than what our computers do now with just spell check. So you can just type with one hand and poke at each key but get suggestions after typing each letter so you never actually have to type out each word.

  1. A need exists for something that can grant access to a container, as well as seal it shut when finished.

-Something that attaches easily to a table that has clamps which can secure the container.

-A hand device that has two “claws” on it. One claw would attach easily to the lid and the other to the container. Then when the user clicks a button they move in opposite directions, opening the container.

-A sticky surface that also turns. So you can place this stick surface on a desktop and then place a container on it and the container will spin around in a circle allowing the user to just hold the lid and not need to move and the spinning pad will open the container.

  1. A need exists for something that can prepare a mattress for use, protecting it from spills, odors, contaminants, and provide soft comfort to the user.

-Normally your bed cover is elastic, which makes it hard to put on a mattress even with two hands. I propose we eliminate the elastic completely and just place a large sheet over the mattress. If you think about it, it really won’t change much and would be much easier to use.

(Self-explanatory, no image)

-A sheet that goes over the bed and is secured with a drawstring.

-A sheet that goes over the bed once but has multiple top layers, so when your sheets are dirty, you can just peal off the top layer and have clean sheets but don’t actually need to change them.

  1. A need exists for something that can remove excess fingernail matter, as well as apply polish to said nails.

-Sand paper type sheet of paper that you put on the wall and can scratch at until your nails are of proper length.

-Nail polish that starts as a powder and you can just put into a bowl of water and dip your hand into it and then it only sticks to the nails, not your skin.

-Artificial intelligence robot to both paint your nails and cut them to a desired length for you.
