Our research group is launching a new three-year study with Dr. Becca Barnes (Colorado College) to understand the fate of nitrogen in the tidal freshwater zone of coastal rivers.

Doctoral student Caitlin Rushlow of Idaho State University (advisor: Sarah Godsey) has been awarded a prestigious CUAHSI Pathfinder Fellowship to visit our research group this summer. She will develop numerical models to learn how surface water and groundwater respond to climate forcing in Arctic hillslopes. Congratulations and welcome, Caitlin!
