At the First Year Mount Retreat at Camp Akita, Logan, OH, I enjoyed taking a break from school and the internet, as the location was pretty remote that there was no cell signal. I also enjoyed spending time to bond with my fellow Mounties and enjoying the beauty of nature. I think that most of the time in life is spent in pursuit of our goals and ambitions that we lose sight of what’s important, and that is the friendships that we forge and the beauty of nature around us.

My Mount class is made of 143 students, coming from different backgrounds, different cultures and different parts of the world. Through Mount, I met so many new friends and it has provided me with so many new experiences and shaped me to become a better leader.
