At the First Year Mount Retreat at Camp Akita, Logan, OH, I enjoyed taking a break from school and the internet, as the location was pretty remote that there was no cell signal. I also enjoyed spending time to bond with my fellow Mounties and enjoying the beauty of nature. I think that most of the time in life is spent in pursuit of our goals and ambitions that we lose sight of what’s important, and that is the friendships that we forge and the beauty of nature around us.

About Me

Philip Sang is a first year Morrill and Mount Leadership Scholar from West Windsor, New Jersey. He is headed into the business field but is still deciding between majoring in finance or economics. After his time at Ohio State, Philip plans to enter the working field of business to gain first hand experience. He plans to pursue an MBA degree after working for a few years. Philip loves to experience novel things and is constantly looking for ways and opportunities to get involved in campus. He is currently a member of the Mount Leadership Training Committee and the Honors & Scholars Programming Board. Philip also loves sports, especially volleyball (beach or indoors) and basketball. When Philip is free, he likes to try out new restaurants and hanging out with friends, unless he is really tired, then he would really love to take a nap.
