Experience

One Government Center / Intern

May 2016 – PRESENT, TOLEDO, OH

Second year interning underneath the auditor, Anita Lopez, at the government center in Toledo, OH. Projects were centered around the reevaluation of  residence homes and commercial buildings within Lucas County. Software used frequently was CAMA Cloud, Sketch Validation, ARIES, and Excel. Intern only during breaks and summer.

The Toledo Blade / Private Contractor

May 2012 – June 2017,  TOLEDO, OH

Worked with the Toledo Blade on their events and have taken on several unique tasks. Events included the Holiday Parade, Veterans Day Parade, Red-White-KABOOM celebration for the Fourth of July, and Walleye Games at the Huntington Center. Tasks varied from marketing, to walking in the parade, and being assigned various leadership roles in events.

Education

The Ohio State University / Undergraduate

AUGUST 2016- PRESENT

Currently a sophomore at the university pursuing a bachelor’s degree from the College of Engineering. Though undecided as to what field specifically within the college, interests fall among computer science engineering, electrical, and materials. Involvement on campus is  primarily by three groups, two which are the scholar programs Mount Leadership Society and Morrill Scholars, and Dance Sport.

Northwood High School

AUGUST 2012 – MAY 2016, NORTHWOOD,OH

Involved with many extracurriculars in the high school. Part of Youth Leadership Toledo, HOBY, band, sports, and was the art director of the musicals for two years.

Awards

Citizenship Award

Upon graduation from Northwood High School, given the honor of being presented with the Citizenship Award from the county for outstanding service to others.

 

Volunteering Experiences

Broad Street Food Pantry

August 2017-Present

Currently volunteering at a food pantry serving those with food insecurity in the city of Columbus.  

TEEN PEP

August 2014-May 2016

Held one of the leadership positions of the program sponsored by Promedica that tackled mental health, bullying, and relationships among peers.

Teen Institute

Drug and alcohol prevention program for youth. Became one of the leaders of the group and served as a youth coordinator at the state retreat.
