How is it already Thanksgiving?

The first semester of college has absolutely flown by. When I started at OSU, I had no idea what to expect from myself. It’s nerve-wracking being on your own for the first time, but I felt ready. The past few months have proven that I was ready, but definitely had some growing to do. I still have to work hard in math, but I’ve accepted that, and writing for The Lantern is so exciting. I had to relearn how to make friends, which sounds strange coming from a college-age girl, but it’s true; I haven’t had to do it in so long, but the experience has been refreshing. I am enjoying the freedom of college life, but there’s still so much I have to learn. As this semester wraps up, I’ll be finished with a few GE requirements, and next semester I will be moving on to more major work and some very interesting GEs. Stay tuned!

Year in Review

[ “Year in Review”  is where you should reflect on the past year and show how you have evolved as a person and as a student.  You may want to focus on your growth in a particular area (as a leader, scholar, researcher, etc.) or you may want to talk about your overall experience over the past year.  For more information, go to: http://honors-scholars.osu.edu/e-portfolio.
