Bicycle by Ziying Ye

“I spent most of my childhood with my grandmother since my parents were busy working. My grandmother was my “driver”. She used an old bicycle to send for me and to pick me up as I sat behind her. Life was simple and easy at that time. All the details might fade out through time, but those emotions and feelings will be kept forever. The work is dedicated to my beloved grandma, the most important person in my life.”

🍞🍊

an ode to instant gratification by Anna Bolek

Throughout the pandemic, days have felt longer and work only seemed to accumulate. Every task began to feel long-term, extensive, or overwhelming. This animation lives as a rebuttal to patience, while acknowledging the potential consequences of a lack thereof.

👁️🌱

First Blue by Son Hess

“First Blue” depicts my first experience with hair dye. I’d been bullied for having short hair and was nervous to donate, but it has become a vital mode of personal expression since then.

Cat Dream by Sifei Miao

“This is a short Animation inspired by a dream I had where I became a cat and spent time with Leo, the character in my favorite music game. Leo is a very talented person in music, but he had a period of struggle. I became a cat in my dream to spend with him.”

Learning to Love by Zachary Upperman

“From young, reckless love and heartbreak to mature love and heartbreak. From telling myself not to do it again and doing it again anyways. And from being reckless and not caring to finally learning how to love myself. This is my love story.”

Endless Revolution is about the cyclic nature of life that’s ever present in the natural world. Every beginning has an end but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the story stops there.

Quiet Steps by Alice Jiang

This piece explores the quiet feelings of progress and transformation. What does it mean to move forward? What needs to change or is left behind?
