Project Book Ordering

Starting this 4-H year, OSU Extension Publications will no longer be offering free shipping. In order to help our members and their families, we will be ordering project books through our office. We will only be placing orders a couple times a month to help keep shipping cost down for our office as well. If you order your books through our office by Friday, January 31st, 2025 you will receive free shipping. We will still order project books after January 31st, but shipping will be charged to your order (shipping charges will be divided amongst those in the same order). Click the link below to place your project book order.

Project Book Order Form

If you choose to place your project book orders on your own, they can be ordered directly from The Ohio State Extension Publications website.

Project Completion Guidelines and Fair Requirements

This document outlines what is needed for a project to be considered complete. These are the minimum requirements, but youth are encouraged to complete more than the minimum as it will increase their chances of winning awards and being selected for the Ohio State Fair. These requirements may also be found in the front of the project books.

Along with the standard project completion requirements, there are requirements for the Paulding County Fair and the Ohio State Fair which are not found in the project book. Below is a document containing all requirements for completing each 4-H project, as well as, the fair requirements for each project.
