Pathogens are commonly encountered in the production of soybeans. Proper management and reduction of the impact by pathogens is achieved through accurate disease diagnosis and understanding of the pathogen biology in order to disrupt its life cycle. The information on this site serves to provide the latter, with current information on the most common soybean diseases found in Ohio.
On this website, disease pages are arranged by the primary part of the plant that is affected (Stem, Foliar, and Seedling & Root). You will also find an overview on soybean disease management, with detailed management for each disease provided on the respective pages.
