We were committed to catering to our members per the Fall 2022 Member Survey. OSUAP provided bi-monthly professional development opportunities in accessible formats. By providing these opportunities, networking, and community building, we are taking steps to promote professional development, develop leaders, and fulfill the overarching goals of the University.
2024-2025 Priorities and Outcomes
- Provide bi-monthly professional development opportunities, including social / networking events and conference (June 13, 2024)
- Bi-monthly meetings
- In-person conference and post-happy hour
- Many mentorship lunch and learns / small meetings
- Inception of the Administrative Excellence Award program
- Working group created and first set of awards given
- Implement strategic fundraising for OSUAP
- Postponed until next Executive Committee
- Successful election with the new process in summer 2024
- Bylaws updated and election process was completed under the new methodology
- Conceptualize a Professional Development Program and working group

2023-2024 Priorities and Outcomes

- Unfortunately, attendance was very sparse at the hosted event in February and November. There were about 15% of registrants for the conference that did not attend, as well.
- Implement updated Mentorship Program: January 2023
- Hosted monthly peer mentorship opportunities, some had more than one session due to high demand
- Unfortunately, curated content and work group member availability did not always provide opportunity for multiple sessions
