___ About Page as homepage–your audience is your mentor; be sure this is what you want to present to the people you’ll work with
___ Elevator Pitch (at the top of the About Page is best–a brief summary of yourself that you expand upon in the rest of the page)
___ Resume
___ Posts Are Deleted After I Grade the Portfolio (you can do this by just deleting the page, I believe–then the individual posts have nowhere to go), but until then you should have the following:
___ 1. What makes a “Best of Blog” site? Name the site and your comments on comparison, usability, and style.
___ 2. Describe your biggest challenges and greatest triumphs with writing, using Carroll’s “Writing Well” points. 250-300 words.
___ 3. What do you want to remember to do in your own website after looking at some of what others have done?
___4. Your consulting critique of a u.osu.edu website
___ 5. Your interview questions for your classmate profile
___ 6. If you decide to leave it as a post, your classmate profile
___ 7. Your analysis of the MHA brand
___ 8. Your response regarding the internship final report
___ 9. Your cover letter that will become your email to your mentor
___ Individual Products
___ Press Release News Article
___ Research Article (Technical Writing)
___ Faculty Profile
___ Student Profile (optional)
___ Grant Proposal (feedback here)
___ Group Products
___ Press Release for Grant Award (our version)

____ Second College Paper or Professional Writing Sample (or more than one)–this might be your website analysis from an earlier post, it might be a letter you’ve written for a scholarship, it might be a flyer you’ve made for a club, a video or design you did for a job or for fun–anything that shows off your abilities as a writer/designer
