I am Nick Kurtz, a 4th year English and Professional Writing student at The Ohio State University. I have experience writing in marketing genres – social media, press releases, profiles. I am also passionate about education and enjoy learning and teaching others. I tutor for Ohio State University Newark’s Writer’s Studio and Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Service’s after-school program.
Above you can find links to work I completed while interning with Ohio State University Newark Marketing and PR Department. #statuesoncampus is an interactive, multiplatform social media campaign with the goal of engaging the community with our campus’ outdoor statues, posing pictures with them, and tagging them to OSUN/COTC social media accounts. The campaign has run throughout the summer and continues through the fall and has successfully garnered social media engagement and presented the charming, unique characteristics of OSU Newark campus.
Like everything, this portfolio is a work in progress, I am a growth-minded person, and I hope to publish more professional writing samples here in the future.
