After completing the Preliminary R&D labs, the team’s focus was shifted on to Advanced R&D. During this phase, the team completed two labs, each of which dealt with a topic of the team’s choice. Since the team’s primary goal in this stage of testing was to analyze the energy efficiency of different AEV designs, the effects of motor quantity and propeller configuration were chosen as the two topics to be researched.
