Wenbo Zhan

wenboI am a second year undergraduate student in OSU, majoring in physics. I joined Dr. Kawakami’s group to do undergraduate research since September 8th, 2016. I work in both Dr. Kawakami’s optics lab and MBE/device lab, just like my mentors. The main quest for me now is to learn various experimental techniques to investigate spin dynamics in two-dimensional materials. The work I’ve done by far is exfoliating monolayers of graphene and MoS2 from bulk crystals, while learning optical setup together with the graduate students.

Outside of science, I’m trying to learn some Japanese.
