I’m focused on high mobility graphene spintronics for long spin lifetime and diffusion length by encapsulating graphene with hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN). This unique platform also provides the possibility to explore other interesting properties of graphene, such as valley Hall effect. I’m also working on investigating electronic and spin phenomena in other two dimensional heterostructures (h-BN, graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides) using ballistic electron emission microscopy (BEEM) to map band alignment.
Outside of lab, I like playing various sports, card games and traveling.
