Most of these items are a big representation of who I am in terms of my culture and ethnicity. From the flags that represent the country’s which that my family is from to the wristbands promote advancing forward not only for myself but for others of my similar heritage. The flags represent Mexico (also if your wondering yes I got the colors wrong on my own flag) and Dominican Republic. On the wristbands it says “Latinx Student Success” and the other one translates to “creating the future of our culture” which are both impactful because not does it only want success for the culture of Latino students here at OSU but also promotes paying it forward which is very important to me within my community. All of these items form the a part of the person I am today because it is my identity and represents the pride I take in who I am.
