Welcome to the website for Ohio State’s Intensive Portuguese Abroad for Spanish Teachers, a new program in Portuguese language and linguistics that will take place in Curitiba, Brazil. Take a look around, and feel free to contact us for more information!

The program will include remote Portuguese language learning starting in April, followed by an exchange experience in Curitiba, Brazil from June 12-30, 2023. It will take place at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR).

During their stay in Brazil, participants will take part-time Portuguese language classes at CELIN (the university language center) and will be invited to join a free, optional language teacher education course offered by the university project Teachers across Borders, also responsible for extra cultural activities and homestay responsibilities.
