Humans Of OSU

“I grew up on the east side of Cleveland. I’m a Clevelander by heart. It’s where I was born. It’s where my family is from. I love Clevand a lot. I guess school was great, but I came into my own in college. I am not the same person I was in high school. In college I started doing my own thing. I separated my old life from my new life and I became more myself here. I am more independent and happier. I study policy, I love it. You could talk to me about policy all day…. I eventually want to be a Supreme Court justice.”

AJ has always stood out to me. She radiates positivity and has such a unique outlook on life. We became fast friends this semester. One of my first nights on campus my roommate and I ordered some Insomnia Cookies. AJ was working the front desk and she looked tired. I asked her if she wanted a cookie and her face lit up. I met her two months ago, but whenever I get the chance to talk to her it’s like we have known each other forever. She has passion and ambition. I know she is going to accomplish all her goals.
