- the biology of reproductive transitions
- clinical and translational immunobiology among diverse populations
- psychoneuroimmunology (how stress affects the immune system in ways that are meaningful to health)
- employment opportunities as a research coordinator, research nurse, or laboratory technician
- student engagement in research for undergraduate and graduate students in nursing and non-nursing majors, particularly:
- research immersions through independent study (in a group setting, with a typical expectation of 2 scheduled hours/week)
- mentoring for undergraduate honors theses (in a group setting, with a typical expectation of 2 scheduled hours/week)
- occasional paid research opportunities
