Biography:
Ava Lowin is a Graduate Research Fellow. She grew up in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2020 from Susquehanna University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. During her undergraduate studies her main research focus was in cancer biology. She gained an interest in immunology as a research assistant in Dr. Zarour’s lab at the University of Pittsburgh where she worked on projects involving clinical trials using ICB therapies in cancer patients. She joined the BSGP Ph.D Program at the OSU in 2022 where she plans on conducting research in cancer immunology.
