“I am an Honors student at The Ohio State University College of Medicine’s undergraduate Biomedical Science major, while also minoring in Creative Writing. I am an ODI Morrill Scholar and a member of OSU’s Mount Leadership Scholars. I grew up in Dublin, Ohio, where my experiences both inside and outside of the classroom fostered my interest in medicine and immunology. This inspired me to pursue an MD-PhD track. I strive to make meaningful contributions to the Ghoneim lab’s work on T-cell exhaustion. Most importantly, I look forward to building upon my research skills and learning more about the vital role that T-cells play in the fight against cancer and chronic viral infections.”
