Background:
The galactic empire is rebuilding their army and the Rebel Alliance needs to be prepared to fight them off again. To keep their activities hidden from the empire the rebels are working on remote planets where power is limited. The Alliance needs to transport their R2D2 units across a monorail system to where interceptor aircraft’s are being constructed in order to crush the empire. The need for an energy efficient vehicle arises from the fact that power is a luxury.
Objectives:
The goal is to successfully pick up the package and return it to the starting position after passing through the gates using as little energy as possible. Energy efficiency will be measured per mass of the AEV. The AEV should have an operational consistency no matter what cargo it has or power supplies it has. The AEV should also not be track dependent as the planet is unstable causing each monorail track to have slight inconsistency’s.
