Recruit and train family Peer Recovery Supporters (PRS) in each county or who can serve each county. These individuals will be trained using the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment [SBIRT] approach.
- Peer Recovery Supporters will be recruited through outreach events at open Narcotics Anonymous meetings and faith-based community events.
- ECI will work with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (Ohio MHAS) to hold PRS certification training sessions in the intervention counties and to keep track of the number of family peer mentors.
