Here are some great places we like to go to get started with our Math Lesson Plans:

  • nzmaths.co.nz – Awesome resource from the Ministry of Education in New Zealand, organized by topic and level. Full of culturally relevant mathematics resources (if you are Ma’ori)
  • NCTM Illuminations – Full of resources and apps for use in your class.
  • Twitter chats. We love #iteachmath and #elemmathchat
  • YouCubed – Jo Boaler’s gangster site of everything you ever wanted to know about becoming a non-sucky math teacher.
  • Radical Math – This is old, but amazing.
  • Ron Eglash’s always dope Culturally Situated Design Tools
