When compared to our second workshop, this session was a success. However, I would still like to see more people at the workshop. I am hoping that the inclusion of candy and some music will increase student participation. The two students that attended enjoyed the workshop based off of their survey responses. Hopefully they will tell their friends about the workshop, and there will be more participants.
I predict that next week will not be a big turnout. Calculus 1 has a midterm on Tuesday, and the workshop is on Thursday. Perhaps as the concepts in calculus get more difficult, there will be more students that attend.
