Review all of the important information and complete all of the important steps involved in onboarding which are listed below. Be sure to review important benefits information PRIOR to making any selections. Some selections are irrevocable and you should be sure you understand the selection before finalizing them in Workday. If, after watching important benefits webinars, you still have questions, please consult your HR Consultant for a one-on-one session to review your options.
1. Watch your Workday Inbox for additional information and important tasks.
2. Review the University’s New Employee Human Resources page.
3. Set up your parking privileges with Campusparc. You need to purchase a permit for your first day.
4. Ensure your manager submits the online ID Badge request form prior to going to the BuckID office to obtain your new ID badge.
5. Review the New Employee Onboarding Checklist with your supervisor to ensure you work together to complete all necessary tasks.
6. Watch the College’s Orientation Presentation and Overview

8. Schedule an individual One-on-One Employee Sessions
- Employees can reach out to their HR Consultant to schedule a one-on-one orientation session to review/discuss the items above.

9. Set goals with your manager during your first week
- Classified Civil Service are required to complete a 6-month probationary period. Managers should complete the CCS New Staff Performance Progress Report
- Unclassified staff are required to complete a 6-month performance progress plan. Managers should complete the Unclassified Performance Progress Report
