Important notes about Locum Pay

Submitting Time Worked

Locums are required to submit the days they worked on a monthly basis.  Because of varying university payroll deadlines, all locums are paid one days worked in the first month of their service and all subsequent days are paid in the following month.  There are no exceptions to this.  To submit time worked, the Locum must complete the Locum Timesheet after each assignment with the University via the HR Action Request form.

Important Notes about Compensation and Receiving Pay and W-2

Locums are paid a daily rate for services.  All payments are subject to applicable payroll deductions.  In order to receive payment in a month during this appointment, a locum must work at least one day.  For any month where services are not provided, there is no compensation paid. Locums will receive a paper W-2 in January if they are not actively employed during the month.
