About

What We Are

The Ohio State City and Regional Planning Student Association (CRPSA) is the student organization for the City and Regional Planning program in the Knowlton School at The Ohio State University. CRPSA is dedicated to fostering personal and career development among students and providing opportunities to bring about transformative change within the Knowlton School, the field of city and regional planning, Columbus communities and beyond, by increasing access to opportunities within the local, regional and international planning environment.

CRPSA is a registered planning student organization with the American Planning Association and encourages the involvement of our students in all APA events on both the local and national level.

Who We Are

The City and Regional Planning Student Association (CRPSA) is the official student organization for undergraduates and graduate students in City and Regional Planning at The Ohio State University. We are a community of future planners, designers, and policymakers committed to building more equitable, sustainable, and inclusive places.

Our members are passionate about all aspects of planning from transportation and land use to community development, housing justice, environmental resilience, and beyond. We aim to empower students through skill-building, connection, and hands-on experience.

History

CRPSA was founded over 10 years ago by a group of planning students at Knowlton who saw the need for a unified organization to connect peers, expand professional opportunities, and create a strong voice for planning students within the university and the community.

Since then, CRPSA has grown into a key part of the planning student experience at OSU, bringing together future planners who are dedicated to shaping stronger, more just cities and regions.
