How could something that was small enough to fit around your finger be worth 3 months of work? The end product is simply a stone surrounded with some metal that looks pretty, why would it cost a such hefty price? The answer to that question lies within the processes and channels that the raw materials must go through in order to qualify as a piece of jewelry. In this project, we hope to identify the chains the commodities of gold and diamonds must travel to one day be the manifestation of a promise to take somebody as your life partner.
