New Owner

The actual delivery process of a car to a consumer is one that is meant to be special.  When a consumer comes on delivery day to pick up his or her car there is a procedure by which every salesman generally follows.  It is at this point that the salesperson is to make sure that the costumer knows how everything inside and outside of the car operates, may it be any cool features the car has, or simply what side the gas tank is on and how to open it.  Remember that if this is done right, a dealership very well may be seeing that same car again when they come to trade that one in and purchase their next vehicle.

It is now in the hands of the owner to either maintain that vehicle in the state it was driven off in or to do as they please with it.  If the consumer gets in an accident, the price of the vehicle and the demand for that particular vehicle takes a significant hit, as once a vehicle has not been properly kept, there is no going back.

When the vehicle is handed over to the costumer, it is now their duty to make sure that they obey all road procedures in it in addition to following up on yearly state inspections to ensure that the vehicle will not have a malfunction.  Each state has their own set of guidelines that a vehicle must reach in order for it to be considered street legal and eligible to be driven on the road.
