Creating Relationships
The Reach Out and Read program allows kids and families to know about the importance of reading and to know about the resources that are out there for them.

I got to know the kids on a personal level and learned more about the Columbus community
At the Boys and Girls Club I helped with club activities and created relationships with the kids. As a Reach Out and Read volunteer I read to children in the waiting area and informed families about the importance of reading and provided them with resources that are available to them.
