Student Employees in BuckeyeLearn
Many student employees hold multiple jobs at Ohio State. Only the manager associated with the student employee’s primary appointment can view the student employee’s BuckeyeLearn transcript and assign training to the student employee in BuckeyeLearn. Additionally, the student employee will only appear on their primary manager’s team in BuckeyeLearn.
If you manage a student employee and are not their primary manager, submit the Learning Assignment Request Form to request for training to be assigned to the student employee.
Here are options for monitoring training completion for student employees:
- Ask the student employee to save a certificate of completion for a specific course or save a copy of their completed transcript to send to you.
- Contact the IT Service Desk to request a BuckeyeLearn training compliance report. Include the student employee’s name in the IT Service Desk ticket.
