BuckeyeLearn Support Structure 2023

Units represented within BuckeyeLearn are given administrative access with a defined set of responsibilities to carry out for their area. Organization Unit (OU) administrators act as the main BuckeyeLearn contact for their area and are responsible for the day-to-day oversight and implementation of their area’s BuckeyeLearn work. Work can be delegated to Learning or ILT administrators within the unit, but the bulk of the administrative work – and all the oversight responsibility – rests with the OU administrator.

If OU admins act as their areas main contact in BuckeyeLearn what purpose does the OTDI BuckeyeLearn Support team serve? Simply put, we maintain and configure the system holding up your areas business in BuckeyeLearn. For a list of our responsibilities, visit our About page on https://u.osu.edu/buckeyelearn.

The information below outlines the flow of the support structure in place for BuckeyeLearn. The BuckeyeLearn Support team acts as the system administrators. OU admins have a direct line of support to the OTDI BuckeyeLearn Support team (as does the OTDI Service Desk).  OU admins are the main contacts for their area’s learners and administrators.
