My second semester of my freshmen year I participated in a semester-long research project for my General Chemistry 2 course. This project focused on synthesizing and characterizing perovskites to determine their potential applicability in solar cells. I developed the role of the leader for my small group on this project, primarily coordinating times to work on assignments, creating outlines for our project, asking questions for the group and editing graphs. We presented our findings to our class and wrote a detailed report that received a high grade in the class.
