Dear Aviation Industry Professional,
I will be graduating from The Ohio State University in December 2014 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a minor in Aviation. I am currently seeking career employment to begin in January 2015 with an airport design consulting firm, and I was referred to you by Dr. Seth Young, the Director of The Ohio State University’s Center for Aviation Studies.
I am interested in pursuing a career where I can combine my knowledge of transportation engineering and my passion for aviation. By the time I graduate, I will have earned my Private Pilot Certificate and thus will have a unique engineering perspective for the planning and design of modern airports.
During my college career, I have interned three times with the Union County Engineer and gained extensive experience in the different areas of civil engineering. I have also served as president of two organizations as I continue to actively build my leadership skills. I plan to earn my Master of Business Administration soon after graduating as well and utilize that knowledge to launch a management career as a 10-year goal.
