As a part of our centennial celebration, we have launched the Centennial Endowment. The endowment will commemorate, in perpetuity, our rich history during our first 100 years. In particular, the endowment is designed to assist faculty in creating opportunities for student success. Examples of uses for the fund include opportunities to:
- Enhance student engagement with alumni and stakeholder expertise regarding improvements to the curriculum preparing students for current and emerging careers
- Develop new or support existing student programs and experiences within and beyond the classroom
- Provide student funding for specialized experiences in their field
- Provide specialized training for faculty to bring cutting edge content to students
- Develop innovative teaching strategies, methods and approaches
- Provide student-centered learning spaces and modern equipment
On October 6, 2017, when the endowment campaign was publicly launched, we were able to report a total of $106,000 in gifts and pledges, all of which were garnered before the campaign went public.
