Training Centers

Agricultural and extension education had nine training centers that would help train agricultural education students.  Worthington, Canal Winchester, and Hilliard were the original training centers opened in 1918.  Grove City and Hamilton Township were added in 1919.

The Hamilton Township location closed in 1924 and Westerville was added as a training center in that same year. Worthington closed in 1930, the same year Reynoldsburg was added.

Reynoldsburg closed in 1937, the same year West Jefferson was added. Grove City closed in 1941, the same year Summit Station was added.

Summit Station would close in 1943, Westerville  in 1949, and West Jefferson in 1952. The two remaining training centers at Canal Winchester and Hilliard both closed in the early sixties.
