All Livestock Exhibitors and families!

As most of you know who attended QA this year there was a new rule change regarding certain over the counter medications for livestock moving to prescription only.

Attached is a link to some helpful factsheets discussing this topic such as which products will be impacted, why the change is happening and how to be prepared!

I hope this is helpful to you all during this transition!

June Cloverbud STEM Day Recap!

We kicked off our second Cloverbud STEM day! We had 12 Cloverbuds. The theme for the June STEM Day was Summer. Junior Leaders and Older Youth In Training led a summer themed activity and gave a lesson to go with it at each of the 3 stations. The picture collage below shows the Cloverbuds engaging with the Junior Leaders and Older Youth in Training at each of the different stations. The stations were Flowers where they discussed different things about Petunias and got to plant one!, Flags where they discussed the history of the American Flag and learned how to fold one using paper, and pinwheels where each Cloverbud got to make their own pinwheel and learned about wind.  To conclude the event, the Cloverbuds ate fruit kabobs with strawberries, pineapple and grapes and got to listen to a presentation from our special guest, Jeff Bragg, who came and talked about the history of the American Flag and taught them hands-on how to fold a real American Flag!

Thank you to all the participants, Junior Leaders, and Older Youth in Training  and a huge thank you to Jeff Bragg for coming to speak to the Cloverbuds!

If you are interested in joining us for our next STEM day it will be December 20th from 1pm-3pm! It will be our last one this year!
